!OUTDATED INFORMATION! -- Canonical Revalations - FFX-3
« on: December 31, 2013, 11:35:32 am »
This is for series-wide canonical revelations depicted by the audio drama and/or novella.

This information is outdated. To obtain newer, more reliable information and discuss about the novella and audio drama, visit the The Novella: Final Fantasy X-2.5 ~Eternal Cost~ thread.

CANONICAL REVELATIONS DERIVED SO FAR:

♋ THE SEX-FAYTH METHOD IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO THE CLASSICAL CANON METHOD OF CREATING FAYTH

♋ THE SEX-FAYTH METHOD INVOLVES SEX BETWEEN A SUMMONER AND ANOTHER PERSON, THE LATTER BECOMING A BEAST CORE

♋ BECKONING HAS DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS ON THE WORLD OF SPIRA

More information will be updated with time.
Thanks for your understanding.

THE SEX-FAYTH METHOD INVOLVING SEX BETWEEN A SUMMONER AND ANOTHER SUMMONER, ALLOWING FOR SELF SACRIFICE

Is this referring to the "strong bond" the game talks about?

Is this referring to the "strong bond" the game talks about?

To quote directly from Yunalesca at the Zanarkand Dome:

"There must be a bond, between chosen and summoner, for that is what the Final Summoning embodies: the bond between husband and wife, mother and child, or between friends. If that bond is strong enough, its light will conquer Sin."

The sex-fayth method bypasses that prerequisite. However, new information implies that the way to create the Final Aeon is the way which is used to create ALL fayth. Therefore, the revelation of the sacrificial bond in FFX is not exclusive to the Final Aeon.

As to expect, the sex-fayth method is not Final Aeon-exclusive either.

They didn't.

There's no pertinence to Yunalesca's outfit and the sex-fayth method.

There was a thread on Neogaf that suggested that.
Only a few sources you can draw from about the novella and audio drama, and what it means for the future.

Between that thread,
this site,
and a few topics that pop up on gamefaqs every now and then,
FFX-3 exists in some hazy, somewhat tangible form.

Otherwise, the game may as well not exist.
Especially considering that it doesn't officially exist.
